Can anyone remember the last time you have seen Brian Norris, voted most humorous according to the
annals of the class of 1979?  Following is what I believe to be his cell number.  We have to inundate him
with calls to get him to the next reunion.  If we put enough pressure on him to plan for it, we may just see
him at the "30th".  I recently received his number from Joe Short and passed it on to a few classmates
I have run into.  If he doesn't answer be sure to leave him a message.  I did miss a call from him a couple
of weeks ago, but after listening to his message I see that he is still crazy!  Let's get him there.

Peace be upon you! I was saddened to hear of the loss of  our classmate, Elaine Purvis and most
recently Pam Wilford. I will take this opportunity to put a plug in regarding handling your final affairs if you will leave
loved ones behind. We all know the gravity of a loss but it is certainly magnified when we are not prepared for it.
I urge you to prepare, plan and make sure you and/or your children all secure with their life insurance. If you do
not have a plan let's discuss one. People don't plan to fail…They fail to plan. Consider your worth and take the
first step. Let's leave an inheritance to our offspring…:-) if they deserve it. ~Love~Jack

our first one Danielle she was born in our senior year. Then there is Melissa and Jessica. I live in West Virginia and
my mother still lives on McDowell Avenue in Chester. I have two grandbabies. Joshua and Deanna. I live in the
mountains of West Virginia I have been here about two years. I have another home in Tabor City NC which my
daughter Melissa stays in with my grandbaby. Danielle still lives in PA Chichester with our grandbaby, and
our youngest daughter Jessica. She hates living in the country. So goes to Chichester she is a sophomore.

Hello everyone! I don't know if anyone remembers me but, I haven’t been home in a long time I've been in the
military, I have two grown children and I'm also a grandmother of two a boy and a girl. I use to be with Karen
Saunders and Monica Davis we hung tuff. I am now married for a second time the first time was for 24 years
and now the second one has been for 2years. I have worked for the government for the past 20years at the
present I work for social security. Well that's enough for now later.

one granddaughter. I am a supervisor in the personnel dept. at the County Court House, Media PA for over

After leaving school, I attended a technical school for Medical/Dental Assiting and worked in the medical/dental
field for about 4 years. I became a stay at home mother when I had my daughter Erika in 1984, and Jessica
in 1987. My only son Eddie Jr was born in 1991, right after I went back to work full time, after working part time
since 1988. I am very proud of my children and their accomplishments. I have 2 lovely granddaughters
Giovanna (Gigi) who is 4 and Samari who is 18 months, who I love spending time with and luckily live
around the corner from me,so I can do that quite often. Most of my family still lives in Chester.
I moved to Linwood 11 years ago, but visit my family every weekend.

Classmates--- My sister Arnita Weathers-Smith turned me on to this website and it was
so good to see that so many of you are thriving and living after 25 years.  To me it seems
like yesterday because I'm very fond of my upbringing in the city of Chester.  Also my cousin
Timothy Bridgeford and his lovely and enchanting wife Stephinae keep me abreast about the

This site is awesome! seeing some of those faces brought "good" tears to my eyes and awesome memories to my
mind! I can not make the reunion and I am so so sad about it!!!! It is my only vacation of the summer so my stay was
booked awhile ago. Whoever reads this please know that my years @ Chester High were the best of my life, gosh how
we didn't appreciate that as much back then. I took Mr. Davis's Law Enforcement class in vo-tec, I loved that class :0).
My first year @ chester high, I was the bad kid, I was on Ms. Corso's wall of the 10 most wanted for cutting class, I
wonder if anyone remembers that wall, lol. I still passed just short of honor roll, but you know even then I never took
drugs, drank or even smoked, by todays standards I was a geek, back then I thought I was cool, oh but when caught I
was punished for months, LOL. I would like so much to be kept posted on any, any other type events for our class,
please. My life has been good since school, I've b!
een blessed with three amazing daughters and 6 awesome grand children. I'm a bookkeeper/office manager for a local
construction company. I married and moved away from Chester for awhile, then divorced and moved back to Chester
(always my home) about 6 years now, divorced for 13. I am active on a committee to erect a Memorial at the site of the
old Wade Dump there
at the base of the Barry Bridge.Our committee is "The Chester Toxic Fire of 1978 Memorial Committee". My Dad was a
member of Franklin Fire House and one of the first responders to that fire, he died from Cancer right after my
graduation, Nov 1979. The cancer was a result of exposure to the illegal chemicals dumped there. It's been 30 years and
a long time coming, just about "all" the first responders who fought that fire are dead and those that aren't are sick and
dying, all from cancer or cancer realted issues from exposure to those chemicals. I would very much like to share with
you our efforts and ask that those of our class who remember that devasting day support our cause. I am on facebook

member from this event, please forward my info on so they can feel free to contact me, it is our goal to do our best to
make sure "ALL" are remembered. Also I ask my class o!

I had a great time at the 30th!  It was good to see some people that I had not seen since leaving the hallowed halls.   
Special thanks to Brian (Gino) Norris, Joe (Colemeen) Coleman, Maurice (Joe Shape) Short.  We convened in a suite at
the Airport Residence Inn the Friday before the reunion after leaving Harrahs.  It was just like old times with the brothers
reminiscing way back to the days of “Booker T” and “Dewey Mann”.  I was waiting for the security to show up at the
door at anytime to throw us out.  Those brothers are MAD!!!  We went on until 5 in the morning.  I had to keep this under
wraps for fear that the Class of ‘79 would have been “all up in the house”!  It was a great weekend, and I look forward to
seeing you all again for the Class of ’79 50th birthday party…..hint …hint…hint….let’s work on it.
