Greetings Friends, Family and Associates:
If you are a lover of music, theater, art,
politics and fashion I encourage you to
attend the Harlem Renaissance
Masquerade, on Saturday, October 24,
2009 at 6:00pm to celebrate our culture,
history, my birthday and most importantly,
support the YWCA of Chester!
I wanted to share this info with you
regarding the Harlem Renaissance
Fundraiser event. For the second year, I
am serving as Chairperson for the YWCA
of Chester’s “Harlem Renaissance
Masquerade Cabaret” to be held on
Saturday, October 24th, 2009.
Dress to impress and join us at the
Cotton Club as the likes of Zora Neale
Hurston, Duke Ellington, Ethel Waters
and Langston Hughes walk down memory
lane saluting late greats and celebrate
the memories of the Harlem Renaissance.
There will be dinner, dancing,
entertainment featuring a local jazz
ensemble, poets, raffles, & special YWCA
presentation. Please come out to support
this wonderful event.
